• 1 and 2 Dimensional Collisions — Explore how the speed, angle and direction of the cue ball affects the output speed and direction of the other balls.
• Elastic Collisions — Colliding billiards balls are the classic example of elastic collisions used in nearly every textbook.  This lets them create those collisions in real life rather than just discussing them theoretically.
• Micro-Experiments — Before every shot they make, they form a hypothesis in their head and visualize the angles. When they take the shot, they test that hypothesis and observe the results.
• Reflection Angles — The balls reflect off the walls just like light on a mirror. Use an actual mirror to visualize where you expect the ball to go after it hits the wall.
• Momentum Transfer Between Multiple Objects — The cue ball may strike multiple other balls, but the combined momentum of those balls will equal the original momentum of the cue ball.
• Open Experimentation — Add other types of balls or objects to the play surface and observe those collisions.
